President Trump added the SAVE America Act to the $350 billion Department of War reconciliation package and ordered Republicans in Congress to immediately pass it - it only needs a simple majority to pass.

The SAVE America Act, will require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote and photo identification at the polls.
The president said the package was essential to strengthening national defense while making sure elections can't be stolen for future generations.
President Trump said it must be passed without games, delays, or weak compromises.
He also called on Senate Majority Leader John Thune to remove Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough so she cannot block the provisions through procedural rulings - something that is in Thune's power to do.
