As we begin a new week, this is the kind of wisdom worth carrying into every decision, every conversation, every burden, and every unknown that lies ahead.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
That is not just a verse to admire. It is instruction for how to live.
We all have plans. We all have desires. We all have opinions about what should happen next, how things should unfold, who should change, what doors should open, and what problems should be solved right now.
But Scripture reminds us that our understanding is limited. We see a few steps in front of us. God sees the whole road.
That is why the beginning of a new week is the right time to pause, pray, and surrender. Not with half a heart. Not with a backup plan hidden in our pocket. Not with the attitude that we will trust God only if He confirms what we already wanted.
Trust Him with all your heart.

Followers of Jesus Christ should no longer walk as the rest of the world walk, in the futility of their minds, having their understanding darkened and being alienated from God. With hearts that are blind and wandering they have given themselves over to lewdness, filth and greed.
As followers of Christ we put off our former corrupt conduct and are renewed in mind and spirit to be as God created us in true righteousness and holiness.
It is only by the grace and forgiveness given us by Jesus Christ that our eyes are opened and our are hearts softened that we might know Him and His love for us. Put on the new man—follow Jesus Christ.
