Texas floated a highway out to sea and sank it. 🌊
The Baytown Tunnel ran under the Houston Ship Channel from 1953 until 1995. When the bridge replaced it, crews floated the middle section out to the Gulf and dropped it as a fish reef.
The two ends? Still down there. Flooded, sealed, buried under the channel.
One word for that.
