My husband and I are going to fly our flag at half mast in respect to the dead and bereft in NC, TN, VA, & GA due to the attack perpetrated on them by our criminal, illegitimate government using hurricane Helene, not sending Aid and hindering civilians from sending Aid.
We might continue to let it fly at half mast for sometime and include in our prayers, the victims of hurricane Milton, which they also used to attack American citizens.
Dear Father in Heaven, we glorify and honor You for all Your blessings and sacrifice for us. Thank You our most beloved God and King Jesus Christ for loving us in grace & mercy.
Father, we cry to You and implore Your Justice for Your beloved children. We groan under the weight of an Evil perverse, merciless and mighty. We cannot conquer this foe without You Father. You are our buckler and shield. You, almighty God are our Savior, our only way to righteousness and justice. Come to our aid Father. Strike down this evil and save Your children. In the mighty name of Your Son, our King & Savior we pray.
Amen
Yielding Always
“Whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.”
LUKE 14:27
Embracing the Cross is not a once-and-for-all act, but a daily attitude of knowing our insufficiency in order to know the sufficiency of Christ. Jesus asks us to take up the Cross “daily” (Luke 9:23) and Paul said “I die daily” (1 Corinthians 15:31). Since we daily meet with temptations, tests and trials, so we must daily affirm and reaffirm who we are in Christ: the crucified, dead, buried, resurrected, ascended and seated Branches of the crucified, dead, buried, resurrected, ascended, and seated Vine.
As disciples we take up the Cross daily, which means we are always in a state of surrender and submission to the Lord Jesus, constantly forsaking our own way for His Way. This moment-by-moment yielding to Him is summed up in this saying: “Not I, but Christ” (Galatians 2:20).
