Lovemylife Inspirationals:
Holding Hands.
We all remember the times as we were growing up, and would be holding hands with our mother or our father as we crossed the street. We felt safe. Secure in knowing that they have us if we fall. As we grow older, we want our independence, and stop holding the hands of our parents and trade it for a more intimate type of holding hands with our boyfriends, girlfriends, spouses or lovers. Those are filled with the desire to feel the electricity between you. The earnestness to feel the warmth of your lover's fingers as they caress and slightly rub the top of your hand. Barely caressing the skin. Does it make you have goosebumps on your arm, or make your hair on your arm stand up from the static electricity? It is an amazing feeling. That same feeling, that same closeness, but a different kind of intimacy is found when we reach for the hand of God. Our Heavenly Father strengthens us. God holds us with His mighty right hand. We are told to not be afraid. To not be discouraged. That we will be safe, and strengthened by God's victorious right hand. It gives you that sense of security that we all crave in life. No matter what you are going through, God has a hold of you. You can feel His warmth. You can feel His love. You can feel the chills going through your body as the hair stands up on the back of your neck when He takes hold of your hand. When you have a relationship with God, and are holding His hand, know that He does not let go. In everything in our lives great and small, we can see the hand of God in all of it if you truly look. It is in our times of hopeless chaos that the hand of God will most likely be seen. The same hand that stills the wild seas stills your guilt. The same hand that cleansed the temples, cleanses your heart. That hand is the hand of God. And just as the hands of Jesus opened to accept the nail, by your acceptance, the doors of heaven have opened for you. Remember this always. Those strong hands of God twisted a crown of thorns into a crown of Glory for all. It is in those hands that we are always safe.
God Bless

His parents, skeptical of the diagnosis and seeking a second opinion, refused the treatment. Before any bloodwork confirmed the diagnosis, the doctors reported Parker’s case to the state, claiming he had only two weeks to live, prompting a court order to force the treatment.
The parents defied the court, and Parker’s father was charged with kidnapping his own son after fleeing Utah to protect him. He was arrested in Idaho, while Parker and his mother remained on the run for weeks. Ultimately, it was proven that Parker never had cancer in the first place, and a judge dismissed the charges.
Despite their vindication, the Jensens sued the state and lost, with no accountability for the false diagnosis or the trauma inflicted. Similar incidents of gov't overreach in medical cases continue to occur today.
"Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish."
Psalm 1
LET THEM GO ON A GOOD DAY
What does it really mean to "let them go on a good day?"
It means it will be your hardest day. It won't matter if you've never done it before, or if you're gifted a dozen good days, each good day is always the hardest one.
It means they won't know what the fuss is about, why they're getting so many treats and extra belly scratches and hugs.
It means you will second guess your decision right up to the very last moment, the very last breath. You'll second guess yourself afterwards.
They'll knicker at you when you arrive, just like any other day.
The weather, perfect. They are content. They look sound today. They are breathing well, eating well, they get up easily enough from a nap in the sun....the list goes on. Whatever issue they struggle with, today they aren't.
Today you euthanize them.
This is what going on a good day means: sending them out while they are happy, while they are healthy, while they are eating well, walking well, etc. You make the choice to do it ...
