Lovemylife Inspirationals:
The Beauty of the Ages.
We should not be opposed to aging. How can we look at aging as the enemy? It happens whether we like it or not and no one is set apart from growing old. It comes to us all. Youth passes from everyone, so why deny it? We should be proud of our age. We should be proud that we have survived this planet, this human experience for as long as we have. And should we end up withered, wrinkled and with a lifetime of great wisdom, we should not trade the few years of youth we experience for the sophistication of a great mind for however long it may last. Our beauty does not come from outward adornment. Our beauty, our true beauty, comes from our inner self. Our unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great value to our living loving God. We look at our youth as if they were our golden years, but in reality, they were just the years that taught us how to live. God gave us everything we need on this earth to live. Growing older is a privilege given to us by our Creator, God. It is a journey of self-discovery, not a decline. Our lives dictate and highlight the wisdom, strength, and unique beauty that comes with each passing day that we mature. Our age shows us, and acknowledges our capacity for joy, and love of all those in our lives. Look, we may not live to be 175 like Abraham, or 127 like Sarah, or even 120 like Moses, but God used each one of them in the elder years to create nations. God has a job for each one of us. We do not know what it is, but whatever age you are, we should be strong enough in our faith to act upon His calling. The beauty of the ages is not the lines upon your face, or the cracks and pops as you stand up, no, the beauty of the ages, is the love that exudes from the beauty of the soul. The love that can only come from your heart. The heart that is filled with the love of Christ Jesus. No wonder God says that You are all Beautiful in His eyes.
God Bless
