Aloha Ohana! Happy Nov Day 16!
We had an interesting, relaxing and fun 8 days on the north shore of Kauai - we stayed at the Shearwater resort in Princeville. The first couple of days were mostly sunny and had some fine beach time - I soaked the first day and my wife and her niece snorkeled🤿 and saw a dozen turtles!🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢x2! After that weather came in with more days of rain and wind which caused the water current to get stronger and visibility to become less. I did not snorkel🤿 as I couldn't find fins that fit and not being a strong swimmer🏊♂️I decided to walk the beach and stand in the shallows.
The rain did provide some interesting scenes with partial rainbows🌈 and sometimes a partial double 🌈🌈a full rainbow the day before we left🌈. Sun rise and sun sets were spectacular and the local animals were cute - feral chickens🐓and nene (like a goose/duck).
