“The only Polio you see in Africa…is the Bill Gates Polio…from his ‘vccines'
Gates making the announcement during an event in Abu Dhabi. The money is going to be used to close a funding gap and vccinate 370 million children each year by 2029.
However, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is pointing out how Gates-backed polio vccines have sparked outbreaks in Africa. (vaccine-derived polio virus)
Gates, whose foundation has poured billions into global health initiatives over two decades, framed the pledge as a critical push toward total eradication.
"We're 99.9 percent of the way there — but the last stretch demands the same determination that got us this far" Gates said.
The vccine-derived polio virus (that RFK Jr. has mentioned) is still circulating in Africa.
The WHO backs Gates and the vccines.
However Kennedy is speaking out against Gates' decision saying,
"The only polio you see in Africa today is the Bill Gates polio — from his vaccines."
He cited data from the GPEI and WHO showing that more than 90% of global polio cases in recent years stem from cVDPV, (vaccine-derived polio) linked to oral vccines that were funded and distributed through Gates-supported campaigns.
Kennedy took steps earlier this year to help put an end to vaccine-derived polio, including:
Stopping $1.6 billion in U.S. funding to Gavi, the Vccine Alliance — a Gates-founded group that has delivered polio shots to millions in Africa
Launching HHS reviews of vccine injury reports in low-income countries, pointing to over 1,000 paralytic cases from cVDPV (vaccine-derived Polio) in Africa in 2020 alone.
Backing studies, like a 2017 Guinea-Bissau analysis, which says there are higher mortality risks from certain combined vccines, including oral polio strains.
Kennedy says that aggressive mass-vccination drives in regions like the Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria, backed by Gates' $10 billion WHO pledge in 2010, was more about speed than safety data - leading to massive outbreaks.

Kennedy says the HHS will have oversight and any aid given, to prioritize inactivated polio vaccines, which don't lead to Polio outbreaks.
