This is Gregg Braden — a geologist and best-selling author who’s been studying this for decades.

And he just detonated one of the biggest narratives in modern politics.

But here’s the part that makes the room go silent:

𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘢 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵.

He didn’t hedge.
He didn’t caveat.
He said it straight.
⁣⁣⁣
And yes — before anyone freaks out — he addressed CO₂ head-on.

𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘖₂ 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 10, 20, 50, 100 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘨𝘰?
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘺𝘦𝘴.

Then he asked the question nobody in power wants asked:

𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?
⁣⁣⁣
And answered it himself:

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰.
⁣⁣⁣
Right now, CO₂ sits around 440 parts per million.
⁣⁣⁣
In Earth’s history?
It’s been far higher.
⁣⁣⁣
Cretaceous period: over 1,000 ppm.
Jurassic: over 1,000 ppm.
Triassic: around 2,000 ppm.
⁣⁣⁣
And what did the planet look like then?
⁣⁣⁣
𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗛.
𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡.
𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗧.

Braden pointed out something else that breaks the script entirely:

There are periods in geologic history where CO₂ is high and temperatures are low — and times where the opposite happens.

𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔 𝗢𝗡𝗘-𝗧𝗢-𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

So where is most of the CO₂ actually coming from?
⁣⁣⁣
According to Braden — and NASA research — over 90% comes from the oceans.
⁣⁣⁣
Warm water holds less gas.
When oceans warm, they release CO₂.
⁣⁣⁣
And here’s the part that wrecks the man-made narrative:

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛 — 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗣.

Glaciers are melting from below.
Heat is rising from tectonic processes — not trapping gases above.
⁣⁣⁣
Braden says this cycle occurs roughly every 12,500 years, driven by activity deep in the Earth’s core, moving through the mantle and crust — triggering volcanic and tectonic activity.

Which, coincidentally…
⁣⁣⁣
𝗜𝗦 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘’𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚.

None of this fits the bumper-sticker version of “the science.”
None of it works for carbon taxes, control schemes, or climate panic politics.
⁣⁣⁣
Which is why voices like this get buried, smeared, or ignored.
⁣⁣⁣
But geology doesn’t care about your narrative.
And the planet doesn’t read press releases.
