New U.S. Census data shows something that should get every Texan’s attention: Texas ranks near the bottom in voter participation.

While states like Minnesota (75.9%), Oregon (75.3%), and Virginia (72.9%) see strong turnout, only 57.9% of eligible Texans voted in the last presidential election, placing Texas among the lowest in the nation.

That means nearly HALF of eligible Texans sat out.

And here’s the reality:
When turnout is low, elections are decided by a much smaller — and often more motivated — slice of voters. Primaries, especially, can shape who ends up running the state long before most people tune in.

The question isn’t just who wins… It’s who shows up.

If a higher percentage of Texans actually went to the polls, the outcomes — and the direction of the state — could look very different.

“In the last 24 hours, I have received multiple threats to my personal safety. These threats stem directly from my outspoken condemnation of the Islamification of Texas and the United States, my righteous anger over the horrific terror attack in Austin early Sunday morning that claimed two innocent lives and injured 14 others, and my clear message on social media that Texas will not tolerate future acts of terror on our soil.
