Speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast on February 5, 2026, Trump stated:
“We’re going to rededicate America as one nation under God.”
He described the event—titled the National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving—as an invitation for Americans nationwide to come together to pray, give thanks, and reflect on the role of faith in the country’s history. The announcement ties into his January 29 proclamation declaring 2026 a “Year of Celebration and Rededication,” urging citizens to renew their commitment to liberty, justice, and being “one Nation under God.”

At the Junior Market Lamb Auction Friday night, the Grand Champion Market Lamb sold for a record $1 MILLION, the highest price ever paid for a lamb at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The lamb was raised by Reagan Miller of Seagraves, Texas, and the winning bid was placed by the Hildebrand family in memory of Brittany Ann Hildebrand.

The Grand Champion Market Goat sold for $450,000, the Reserve Grand Champion Lamb sold for $310,000, and the Reserve Grand Champion Goat brought $250,000 — all record-setting sales.
