EVENING VIEW FROM THE RIDGE:
Replacing Confusion with Foundation
There is an old oak tree down the road from where we live that has stood for over a hundred years. It has survived blizzards, droughts, and winds that would rip the roof right off a barn. It survives because its roots go straight down into the bedrock. It doesn't adjust its nature based on whatever way the wind happens to be blowing that morning. It just stays an oak.
Lately, it feels like our entire culture is being asked to pretend that up is down, left is right, and that the fundamental truths that built human civilization are suddenly up for debate. We are told to nod along with things that defy basic reality, basic biology, and the divine order of GOD. We’ve spent years watching common sense get watered down to appease people who have traded timeless morality for temporary trends, and millions of hardworking people across this country are flat-out exhausted from coddling it.
But the wind might finally be shifting.
Indiana Governor Mike Braun just signed a proclamation declaring June as Nuclear Family Month, standing right alongside Tennessee to reclaim this month from the noise of corporate-sponsored pride campaigns. The declaration states flatly what used to be common knowledge: the nuclear family, consisting of one husband, one wife, and their children, is GOD's design for the family structure and has been the foundation of society since the creation of the world.
It is about time a leader used a pen to write some truth.
For too long, the system has tried to patch the holes left by broken homes. The proclamation correctly points out that research reports children living with their married, biological parents have better physical and emotional well-being. It notes that when families weaken, society is forced to compensate with expensive, inferior approaches like massive welfare systems, schools acting as surrogate parents, and police stepping in as surrogate discipline. You cannot replace a mother and a father with a government bureaucracy and expect the nation to survive.
Marriage is a sacred design meant for one man and one woman. It is the blueprint that keeps a society grounded, stable, and moving forward. Anything outside of that design is just confusion and a complete loss of a moral compass. A country cannot survive on shifting sand, and if we keep bending the knee to every passing cultural whim, we are done as a nation. It is time to stop apologizing for standing on the truth.
GOD set the standard long before we got here, and no amount of modern re-writing is going to change the bedrock.

Beware of Kirkland brand organic cane sugar

From Bioengineered Food Awareness Uncensored on FB

Something crazy: I've been buying this sugar for years. I live in an area where we have Hummingbirds, finches, woodpeckers and other birds year-round. The number of visitors slows down in the winter, but I usually do a lot of baking around the holidays, so I still use a lot of sugar. This year I did not, so I'm not sure when I purchased the previous bag I'd been using. However, I recently needed to buy a new bag. I made a batch of the "juice" with the new sugar, and filled my 3 hummingbird feeders up last week. Not a single bird, of any kind, would even touch them! My yard is usually bustling with activity. I noticed that the water had a darker tint than normal and thought maybe something was off with the batch. After 3 days of zero birds even landing on my feeders, I returned the sugar to Costco. I made sure the new bag I purchased was from a different lot. I had the same thing; no visitors. So, I grabbed a small bag of white ...
