NOT WHAT THEY IMAGINED
A lot of people who voted for Trump never fully understood what they were asking for. 😬
👉 They wanted the deep state dismantled.
👉 They wanted the entrenched power structure broken.
👉 They wanted America pulled back from the edge.
But they wanted it clean. 😒
👉 No disruption.
👉 No uncomfortable alliances.
👉 No pressure that felt messy.
👉 No moves that didn’t make perfect sense on the first viewing.
They wanted demolition but were not expecting the turbelance. 🤯
👉 Now the real work is underway.
Institutions are being forced to answer. Systems that operated in the dark for decades are under pressure.
👉 The process is not polite.
👉 It is not tidy.
👉 It does not always look the way people pictured it in their heads.
And some of the same voices that demanded the wrecking ball are now complaining that the building is shaking. 🫨🫨🫨
That is the difference between supporting a slogan and supporting a mission. 👍
👉 You cannot demand that decades of corruption, dependency, and institutional capture be reversed and then act shocked when the process creates turbulence.
👉 You cannot ask someone to take on an entrenched system and then abandon him the moment the fight stops feeling good.
Real power does not surrender politely. ✋
Entrenched interests do not leave quietly. ✋✋
Systems built over generations do not collapse because someone made a strong speech. ✋✋✋
👉 They resist.
👉 They delay.
👉 They create confusion.
They try to turn supporters against the very effort they claimed to want. 🤔
👉 Criticism of strategy is healthy.
A constitutional republic requires citizens who question power, even the power they voted for. But there is a clear line between evaluating the path and abandoning the destination because the road is harder than the fantasy.
👉 Many people wanted the emotional satisfaction of hearing the right words. 🎭🗣️
👉 Fewer were prepared for the actual cost of making those words real. 🧗‍♂️💸⛓️
The question every person who is frustrated right now should ask themselves is simple:
👉 Did you truly want the system dismantled… 🤔
or did you only want the feeling of someone promising to dismantle it? 🫂✨ 🫂✨ 🫂✨🙄
Because once you call for the wrecking ball, you do not get to complain when the walls start to crack.
👉 The mission was never going to be comfortable.
👉 It was never going to be neat.
And it was never going to look exactly like the version people carried in their heads. 🤯
That does not make the mission wrong. 🤔
It makes it real. 👍
