SOMETHING REMARKABLE IS BEING REPORTED FROM IRAN.
For years, Christians have shared stories of people turning to Jesus across Iran. Now missionary Georges Houssney says the number of converts could be far greater than many realize.
According to Houssney, Christian broadcasters throughout the Middle East estimate that more than 5 million Iranians may have converted to Christianity.
And for many, following Jesus comes with a serious cost.
The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom has documented arrests, imprisonment, and other government actions involving Christian converts and those connected with house churches.
There are also powerful testimonies from Iranian converts who say dreams or visions of Jesus played a role in leading them toward Christ.
Whatever the precise number, one thing is clear: people are choosing to follow Jesus even when doing so may cost them their freedom, relationships, or safety.
While many of us can worship openly, other believers gather knowing their faith could carry serious consequences.
Their courage should challenge us.
Pray for the Christians of Iran. Pray for their protection. Pray for religious freedom. And pray that the Gospel continues to reach people who are searching for hope. ✝️
