Barack Hussein Obama has retained a team of nine criminal defense lawyers. Not former White House counsel. Not advisory help. Criminal defense. The same man who sold the country “Hope and Change” is now preparing for a federal grand jury subpoena expected by March 7. That is not the posture of a statesman clearing up a paperwork dispute. That is the posture of a man who believes the next phase is indictment.
The money trail is the reason. In 2016, Obama moved $150 billion toward Iran and $1.7 billion in cash on unmarked cargo planes in the dead of night and called it a nuclear deal. It was not. Newly released Department of Justice documents show $2.3 billion tied to Jeffrey Epstein’s network moving through Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, and Bank Melli Iran, a state-owned bank that received exemptions under Obama’s deal. The claim now circulating in the investigation is simple and ugly; the payment was not to stop uranium enrichment. It was to move the server farm, the tapes, and the books to Tehran between 2016 and 2019, on Obama’s watch, through Obama’s channels, with Obama’s money. Trump ordered the military to retrieve what was left. Obama now needs nine lawyers.
The Harvard and Clinton pieces close the circle. Lawrence Summers, Obama’s former chief economic adviser and recently ousted Harvard president, resigned without explanation; his name appears on the Butterfly Foundation recipient list tied to Epstein’s $340 million trust, and he met Epstein at least 14 times after the 2008 conviction. Bill Clinton appeared before the House Oversight Committee under subpoena, the first time a former president has been deposed in a congressional criminal probe, and was asked about a 2015 Clinton Foundation meeting attended by Obama, Clinton, Summers, and Epstein’s lawyer. The subject, Clinton said, was “transfer of property.” Assets. Not cash. Proof. The timeline the investigators are using is 2015 meeting, 2016 Iran transfer, 2017 intercepts from sites inside Iran, 2019 Epstein’s arrest and death and the disappearance of the tapes, 2025 Trump’s return and Bondi’s reopened case, 2026 retrieval from Tehran and Obama’s sudden legal army. The grand jury convenes September 15. Every dollar has a story. Every lie has an expiration date. Obama’s just run out.
