I found the official government record. President Trump DID extend Executive Order 13848, and it is still in effect as of October 20, 2026.

August 31, 2026: Trump signed the continuation notice.
September 2, 2026: It was published in the Federal Register.
September 12, 2026: The new continuation period began.
September 12, 2027: The current one-year continuation reaches its anniversary, unless terminated earlier.
Here's what it means:
