Daylight Saving Time to End in November 2026
Most Americans will switch to standard time on Sunday, November 1, 2026, when Daylight Saving Time officially ends. Clocks will move back one hour at 2 a.m. local time, becoming 1 a.m. local standard time. This change will result in earlier sunrises and earlier sunsets. Hawaii and most of Arizona do not observe Daylight Saving Time and will remain on standard time year-round. Other U.S. territories, including American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, also skip Daylight Saving Time. Some Canadian provinces, such as Alberta, Manitoba, most of British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories, will also not be changing their clocks.
