IF GOVERNOR ABBOTT CALLS A SPECIAL SESSION, TEXAS NEEDS TO SHOW UP.
I believe every Republican, every conservative, every independent, and every Texan who still believes in what this great state stands for needs to make their way to Austin.
We need to show up, stand together, and make our voices heard. Not quietly. Not halfway. We need to make it BIG. We need to fill Austin with Texans who are not willing to sit back and watch the future of our state slip away.
To every county chair, precinct chair, Republican, conservative, grandparent, mother, father, and pastor: this is a call to stand. If you believe in faith, freedom, family, the Constitution, and the biblical values that have shaped generations of Texans, we need you there.
We need to stand for our children and grandchildren. We need the next generation to inherit a Texas where freedom is protected, faith is respected, parents have a voice, biblical values are not abandoned, and our children are taught the truth.
And let me be clear: whining, complaining, and moaning about what happened is going to accomplish absolutely nothing. We can sit around pointing fingers, expressing our frustration, and wishing things had turned out differently, or we can get up and do something about it.
You can have your moments of weeping, disappointment, frustration, and even tears. There is nothing wrong with feeling those emotions. But don’t allow a moment of disappointment to become a lifetime of defeat. Ultimately, never forget WHO is in control. We serve a God who can move heaven and earth with a single word. Our circumstances do not change His power, and our setbacks do not change His promises.
And to the Democrats who believe our voices will simply disappear, understand this: WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED. We will not surrender our convictions, and we will not abandon the values we believe are worth protecting. If anything, this moment should make us stronger, more determined, and more united in our commitment to the future of Texas.
If you want to stand on the right side of history, you have to be willing to stand when it matters. You have to know that you did everything within your power to protect the future of this state. I want every Texan to be able to look their children and grandchildren in the eyes one day and say:
“I did everything I could to protect Texas. I didn’t sit back. I didn’t give up. I stood when it mattered.”
If you believe in America, if you believe in Texas, and if you believe in the principles this country was founded upon, then this is bigger than party lines. This is about the future of our state.
They may win a battle, but they will never convince us to surrender the future of Texas.
I want to see Austin overflow with support. I want Texans from every corner of this state standing shoulder to shoulder, praying, speaking up, and reminding our leaders that the people of Texas have not given up.
And above all, we need to pray. Pray for our state, our leaders, our families, and the generations coming behind us.
There is a story in the Bible that I believe we should remember right now: Nehemiah rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem.
When Nehemiah heard that Jerusalem’s walls had been torn down, he didn’t sit back and accept it. He prayed, gathered the people, organized them, and led them to rebuild. They faced ridicule, opposition, and threats, but they refused to stop. They understood that what they were rebuilding mattered for the generations to come.
Nehemiah 4:14 (ESV) says:
“Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”
And let us not forget Matthew 17:20 (ESV):
“For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Think about that. We don’t need to have everything figured out. We don’t need to know exactly how everything will unfold. But we do need faith. Even faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Never underestimate what God can do through people who are willing to pray, stand firm, and take action.
I don’t believe this is the end. I believe this can be the beginning of something greater. An awakening. A renewed commitment to the values that make Texas what it is.

Let’s fill Austin with Texans who still believe in faith, freedom, family, and the future of this great state.
The future of Texas is worth standing for. Our children are worth standing for. And we cannot afford to sit this one out.
