Good morning folks
We stopped at a Dairy Queen in Texas yesterday, and while we were waiting to order, I noticed a Bible sitting on the counter.
I told my son, “I bet it’s there for people to highlight their favorite Bible verse.”
He looked at me like that would be a pretty random thing for Dairy Queen to do. He just assumed someone had left it behind.
So I asked the lady behind the counter.
She smiled and told me that several Dairy Queen locations around Tyler keep a Bible out for customers to highlight their favorite verse.
I don’t know… that just made me smile.
In a world that can feel like it’s getting darker by the day, it was a beautiful reminder that there are still people willing to be a light.
