This cartoon sums up the choice voters face in November better than a thousand campaign speeches could.
Freedom or slavery.
That may sound dramatic to some people, but look at what is happening inside the Democratic Party right now.
The so called moderates are being pushed aside, one primary at a time, by far left socialist candidates who are not even trying to hide what they believe anymore.
They want more government control over your money, your business, your speech, your schools, your energy, your health care, your firearms, your children, and your future.
That is not freedom.
That is control with better branding.
Even many mainstream Democrats can see what is happening, and some of them are clearly nervous.
They know the party is being dragged farther and farther left by activists who believe America itself is the problem, capitalism is evil, borders are optional, police are oppressive, and government should be the final authority over almost every part of daily life.
The cartoon gets it exactly right.
On one side is the open gate, the flag, faith, family, community, and the American idea that free people should be allowed to build their own lives.
On the other side is a locked gate, cameras, chains, factories, mobs, and a system where citizens become subjects.
That is the real choice.
Not perfect Republicans versus perfect Democrats. There are no perfect politicians.
The choice is whether America moves back toward liberty, responsibility, and constitutional government, or whether we hand power to people who openly believe government should control the economy, punish dissent, redistribute success, and remake the country from the top down.
November matters.
Choose wisely.
Because once freedom is surrendered, it is rarely handed back politely.
