The Trump administration has launched a public website called 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐫 — a running, searchable tally of the waste, abuse and outright theft its task force has clawed out of the federal budget since January 2025.
The numbers are staggering. According to administration officials, the task force has 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 $𝟐𝟑𝟎 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝, stopped roughly $56 billion in fraudulent payments before the money left the door, and enforced more than $55 billion through indictments, settlements and civil penalties.

The largest flying creature that ever lived did not come from some far-off corner of the world. It came out of the ground right here, in the Big Bend country of far West Texas.
